General (About Me & My Approach)

Curious about how I work? Get a snapshot of my solo practice, values, and what kinds of projects and roles I thrive in.

  • I focus on building practical, reliable solutions across ERP systems, custom web apps, UX/UI design, and automation. Over the past several years I see a trend of the low code type solutions such as the Microsoft ECO system (Power Platform, Business Central, Office 365) However, with that said I am well versed in creating custom apps and websites from the ground up, reverse engineering apps, and rebuilds.

  • I prefer being part of your team and part of your culture either in a part-time, full-time, or temporary employment capacity. I see great value in the ease of access to others, participating in collaboration and other team dynamics.

I do have the ability to Work solo as I spent about 50% of my career doing so, but as I stated I prefer collaboration passing and sharing ideas as it provides perspectives, approaches, and strategies that I may not come up with on my own. So, in a way working solo limits me to some degree!

  • Yes — I’m actively open to remote or local roles that involve meaningful work in development, design, or systems strategy.

However, I mentioned in “Do you Work Solo, Or Collaborate with Teams?” that I prefer Part-time, Full-time, or Temporary Employment capacity.

  • I prioritize listening, then designing. I learn how each client works, then shape tools and workflows to match — never forcing off-the-shelf tech where it doesn’t fit.

  • I’ve developed solutions for manufacturing, regulated industries, research organizations, and creative agencies — each with its own set of workflows and compliance needs.

Process & Engagement

Wondering what working together looks like? Learn how I approach timelines, iteration, client feedback, and what I deliver beyond the build.

  • It starts with discovery, then I move into scoped planning, prototyping, and iterative development. I keep feedback loops short and clear, ensuring what we build stays aligned with goals.

I leverage Agile Scrum methodologies and have worked with the methods over the past ten years.

  • I provide estimates based on initial scope, with built-in flexibility. If priorities shift or complexity grows, I communicate clearly and adjust with transparency.

  • Feedback is welcome and expected. I design workflows that include review points, and I adapt quickly to revisions or new insights along the way.

  • Yes — I can create guides, walkthroughs, or live demos to support adoption and handoff. I tailor documentation to your audience (technical, operational, or public-facing).

  • Absolutely. I’ve worked with legacy systems, brand guidelines, and hybrid environments. I find ways to make new work fit with what’s already functioning.

Technical Deep Dives

Into the nitty-gritty? This section answers deeper questions about platforms, system integrations, accessibility, and custom development.

Design & Creative

Need design with depth? Explore how I bring visual clarity and creative assets to digital projects — and how design supports usability and branding.

  • Design should make things clearer, not just prettier. I focus on accessibility, consistency, and tone — shaping visuals that align with content and audience intent.

  • Yes — I can match existing branding or expand it. I create assets that feel cohesive and authentic, whether I’m following a guide or helping define one.

  • Absolutely. I’ve designed for digital platforms, social media, signage, onboarding docs, and more — always ensuring file types and specs are ready for deployment.

  • I design both. My UI work includes wireframes, responsive layouts, and visual components that bridge form and function across websites, apps, and portals.
